Ben Todd has stepped down as editor of Zoo magazine after two-and-a-half years.
Todd joined the Bauer Media weekly lads’ mag as deputy editor at the beginning of 2007 from the Sunday Mirror and was promoted to editor a month later.
A Bauer Media spokeswoman said Todd’s successor had not yet been appointed.
Zoo managing director Geoff Campbell said: “Ben has brought a wealth of newspaper experience to Zoo over the past two and a half years and his tabloid skills have been a huge asset in further developing the brand into the most entertaining package for young men.

“He leaves an experienced team in place to take the brand to the next stage and all of us at Zoo would like to thank Ben and wish him well in the future.”
Zoo was one of the worst-hit men’s magazines in the last set of consumer magazine ABCs, covering the second half of 2008.
The title’s circulation fell 18.7 per cent year on year to 145,555 – about 90,000 copies behind IPC rival Nuts on 234,034.
